Sound Therapy

The form of the divine is energy .The structure of energy is vibration. The Healing Power of Sound has been an integral part of Human civilization for thousands of years. Given that everything has a vibrational frequency, including ourselves, it makes sense that sound frequencies impact how we feel. That’s why Sound healing, which is an ancient healing technique that uses tonal frequencies to bring the body into a state of vibrational balance and harmony, plays upon this as well.

What To Expect During A Sound Healing Session?

A typical sound healing session begins with a chan which helps dissolve any boundaries and limitations and is followed by a breathing exercise that calms and centers the mind. Once we have moved our awareness into the heart center we typically lie down on the floor or a yoga mat, perhaps cuddle up with a cozy blanket, and simply listen to a variety of instruments using quartz singing bowls, himalayan singing bowls, drums, bells, tuning forks, and more. The sound frequencies help slow down brain waves to a deeply restorative state, which activates the body’s system of self-healing.
